Managed Services

Your business success depends on your IT infrastructure.  You need Murphy, McKay & Associates, Inc. to deliver proactive services that not only keep your network up and running, but running effectively and efficiently.

Murphy, McKay’s server management package means that you will see increased performance, security, and reliability – immediately, and at an affordable price.

Murphy, McKay is proud to offer an array of services designed to assist you in managing your IT needs and costs.  The main goal of these services is to increase your employees’ productivity (and your bottom line) by having them spend less time dealing with technology issues and more time on their primary job functions.  Additionally, we want to help you control IT costs and provide you with the peace of mind that comes from not having to worry about your IT infrastructure.

Remote Guardian

The Remote Guardian consists of monitoring the overall health of the network, devices and software.  Murphy, McKay will be notified of outages as well as trends that can cause outages, enabling us to take the necessary steps to prevent an outage.  The Remote Guardian also allows us to generate reports on system usage which we can use to predict future upgrade and expansion needs.

Server Maintenance

Server maintenance consists of tasks that are necessary to keep server hardware and software running at peak performance.  Server maintenance is performed following our industry best practices.  Maintenance tasks are typically performed remotely and do not require a site visit.  Tasks that require a site visit or system downtime will be coordinated with your designated contact.

Desktop Support

Desktop support gives your employees the ability to call a helpdesk phone number and receive support from a Murphy, McKay engineer for any IT issue.  The  engineer will be able to connect to the employee’s machine (if the machine is up and running), document the reason for the call and begin the troubleshooting and resolution process.  If the engineer determines that a site visit is needed, the next step will be determined in coordination with your site contact to see if they would like to perform the next step internally or if they would like an our engineer to come onsite.
